It’s unfortunate, but you really have to start reading labels. Maltodextrin is a very overly processed carbohydrate. It has a high tendency to spike your insulin levels. A lot of companies will sneak it in their packaging. This is actually worse than sugar. The glycemic ranges from 86 to 120. Much, much higher than regular table sugar.

Overly processed, from rice, corn, potato, wheat, or tapioca. Nothing pretty about this nasty artificial additive, filler. It actually tricks your brain that you want more of it. Side effects are outrageous. For those of you that like Splenda sorry, it’s in there. Stomach issues, to heart issues. Avoiding products that say zero sugar, or low sugar, and artificial sweeteners, will help you to reduce the intake of this nasty additive.

Pay Attention To Due Dates On The Food That You Are Buying, And The GREAT Benefits Of WILD OIL OF OREGANO P73

I don’t know how many of you have a Aldi store in your area. I went into my local Aldi store, and I was checking out their romaine lettuce. I eat a lot of romaine. I asked the manager, where is the due date? You said oh we don’t need to put a due date on romaine lettuce, we have a harvest date, and it’s good for 21 days. Folks I’m here to tell you that it’s completely false. We all know that lettuce does not stay good for 21 days. Look at lettuce for example. I put it back on the shelf, and I said time to go to my health food store. The manager was extremely rude and cocky, he said that’s your prerogative but you’re not going to find anything cheaper. I said cheaper is not always better, and I don’t want to get sick from your garbage. I need to know where my food is coming from. It might be a little bit more expensive, but I’m going organic all the way. I go to a local health food store where I know that my produce is 100% organic, And there’s no chemicals.

It’s coming down to: you cannot trust the government. It is a fact that they are spraying our food with chemicals that are making us sick, and injecting things into our produce and fruit, meat that is making us sick! Don’t get me started on the covid vaccine.. or the flu vaccine. I’ll save that for another day’s topic.

I do have a local health food store that I go to and I shop regularly. With fall here, I’m boosting my immune system, and taking wild oil of oregano p73. This is not a birthday, gift a Christmas gift, three little drops under your tongue and it will kill anything! Look up Dr. Cass Ingram, he was a very good friend of mine and got me on a regimen of wild oil of oregano p73, ashwagandha, vitamin C, vitamin D3, elderberry syrup, vitamin B12, Magnesium. But when I had covid a couple years ago it was the wild oil of oregano p73 that killed my symptoms! I gave it to everyone that I could think of. I had bronchitis it wiped it out in 2 days. I had a sore throat it wiped it out in a day. Wild oil of oregano p73, is powerful stuff, and it does not taste great whatsoever. But it wipes out anything.

I guess we need to all be aware of the food that we are eating, and where it is coming from. I even look up natural Farmers that do shipping many of them offer free shipping, on meats and produce.

I pray that all of you are doing well on this beautiful Monday. Take charge of your health pay attention to the due dates on packaging when you’re at the store. I keep my food list simple. I do eat a lot of 99% fat free ground turkey, romaine lettuce, bacon that contains no sugar whatsoever, Philadelphia cream cheese, or Mediterranean kefir that they make into cheese, which is absolutely wonderful.

Don’t Fall For Weight Loss Gimmicks

So here you are on Facebook, and all these ads come up about protein powder that will guarantee to cause weight loss. Or Super Burn Collagen, there are so many marketing gimmicks, that they’re targeting and filling your mind with (oh I’m going to buy that), or if I buy this, I’ll lose weight. Save Your Money Please.

To refresh and rejuvenate your body mind and soul, I still believe walking is the most therapeutic. If you can’t get outside and walk there are very simple chair exercises you can do, with a friend of mine Meredith. She does (Senior Fitness with Meredith). She is on YouTube. Please don’t get the senior part in your mind thinking it’s extremely easy. Yes, there are very simple exercises, to advanced using dumbbells, and her exercises last for about 20 minutes to 1 hour! And that’s the advanced workout. I thought I’d start off right away doing her advanced workout I had to drop down to intermediate, 😂

Real food is key. I don’t drink milk. I believe that milk is for baby calves. Whole foods are best. There’s going to be days that you’re more hungrier than others., It’s a given fact. I know for me it is. I’m eating a lot more of the leanest ground turkey, there is on the market. I like my concoction of 3 chopped up fresh garlic, sauteed until golden brown, then I add 4 oz of the Leanest ground Turkey there is, fried in a skillet until done, add an egg or two in with my ground turkey, eggs, and garlic. After that is cooked well I add 2 cups of chopped fresh spinach. Spinach cooks up very quickly, I don’t like my spinach mushy.. I make sure that it’s mixed well with my turkey, egg, and garlic. I put everything in a bowl mixing everything together. I then add 1 oz of original cream cheese together with the turkey, egg and spinach and my golden garlic. This will keep me full and satisfied for hours.

Water is King. I add lemon juice and apple cider vinegar to my water bottles, it just keeps me fresh and rejuvenated and hydrated. Plus apple cider vinegar does wonders, as well as freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Save your money! There is no magic bullet except for eating whole foods. And for me carnivore and keto work together for me. Don’t fall into the trap of marketing gimmicks. I tell people all the time, your magic bullet is walking, rejuvenating your mind, body, and soul… And healthy eating habits, staying away from the artificial junk, staying away from sugar, is key.

Klonopin, Anti Anxiety Medication and Weight Gain

So many people ask me, I can’t lose weight. One of my things is I asked them, are you on any anxiety medication? Many of the people I talk to say that they are. If anybody is on Klonopin, Abilify, Xanax, guess what? You’re shooting yourself in the foot. Abilify, you can gain 10 lb in the course of your treatment. Klonopin is the same way depending on what your dosage is. The higher the dose the higher the weight gain. That’s why I stay away from carbs when you are on anti-anxiety medication is critical. Eating carbs while being on anti-anxiety medication is a double sword. The longer that you are on anti-anxiety medication, to wean yourself off it’s always best to get your doctor’s advice. Right off the bat I’m not a fan of Ozempic! There are so many side effects with this medication. No Wonder people are losing weight! Let’s talk about the side effects shall we?! Heart palpitations, high heart rate, high blood pressure, power puking, and the reason why your power puking is because your digestive tract takes so long to digest food, that whatever you eat you’re going to bring it up. That’s why if you are on this and I highly recommend that you stop! You are not allowed to have anything greasy, fatty foods, this medication is lethal! The best way to lose weight, is to exercise regularly, you don’t have to spend hours in the gym, up your protein! You might want to try staying away from fruit for a while because it is still sugar. Reason why I do strictly carnivore/Keto.

Trial and error, I wanted to show another friend of mine if you have one frozen strawberry margarita it will be a four or five pound weight gain the next morning guarantee it, especially if you are carbohydrate intolerant. A lot of people giggle and say that they never heard of that. Well it’s true.. a doctor can swab you, and tell you right then and there if you are carb intolerant. I am 110%! So in the morning I had the leanest ground turkey 3 oz and one egg. I’m full I will not eat again until 5:00. Black coffee, and chug-a-lug on the water. There some days that I’m more hungrier than others and that’s cool, I just add more ground turkey, or fish and make a concoction of protein. If I want to add a vegetable I will do so, but it is a (green vegetable), spinach, lettuce, endive, kale… Keeps me satisfied keeps me full! If I want something hot I do drink a zero calorie zero carb chicken broth. They do sell it I have to be really careful and read the ingredients on everything. Some of you are vegetarian and that’s great! My body is crying out for protein so being carnivore / keto works for me. Depends on my day one day I might do strictly carnivore another day I might do Carnivore /Keto.. it just works. I’m finding out as well that I plateaued, when I was getting red meat so I switched over to fish and the leanest ground turkey and I’m having success again. A lot of trial and error it sucks.

If I want to snack I put kale in my air fryer and I make my own kale crisps. Season it with natural seasoning. I know carnivore people are really big on salt, I am not. I’m limiting my salt intake right now. As I said a lot of trial and error, I’m walking anywhere from 6 to 8 Miles a day, and enjoying my journey.

Welcome to my black and white photography. Doing the things that you love will keep your mind occupied, and off food. I’ve been doing really well, having still my first meal sometimes at 1:00 in the afternoon. It’s true when you keep your mind occupied, it needs to focus on the things that you are doing, and it keeps you away from the foods that you really should not have.

I went to Columbus Performing Arts center, and took some beautiful photography on dancers. A dozen of them got some attention from some companies, which I am going to Chicago and talk to a few of them. I’m a green horn yet, but I enjoy glass blowing and black and white photography.

Yesterday I came home and I had a 4 oz bison burger, with two cups of shredded angel hair cabbage, one and a half ounces of my cream cheese, garlic powder, turmeric, garlic, and I was satisfied after that. I wanted to put my mind to the test. If my gut started rumbling and I felt hungry it was mine control over gut control I told my gut no! I started drinking fresh lemon and lime juice, and apple cider vinegar. I had about 48 oz of that, and trust me the hunger pangs vanished. Your mind is a very powerful tool. Your mind has the authority to say either yes or no. Trust me I asked God to help me each and every day, because I don’t want to slide backwards. But the more you keep busy, and occupied the more you’re going to stay on track. I walked the distance yesterday as well.

Today I’m going out for lunch with a friend of mine and it’s going to be a salad a lot of green vegetables with maybe a hamburger on top, always ask the restaurant where you go to if they pre salt their meat. I have a thing about I want to add my own seasonings, for me too much salt can be detrimental. I know on Carnivore you’re supposed to eat a lot of salt, I do not. I keep my electrolytes in check and in balance.

A Beautiful Day To See Blooms

Yesterday was an adventurous walking day for me. One of the best benefits for rejuvenation, is actually seeing beautiful blooms all around me. It pumps up my endorphins, and it makes me happy. Yesterday was a very good long walking day, after I did that I went for a long bike ride. Do things that make you happy. For me going alone is the best Rejuvenation ever. I believe for me and improves my listening skills. I hear the Blue Jays in the distance, and a light breeze that blew through the trees leaves. I’m blessed to be active and I want to remain that way. I believe your body is made for movement. Even if you are homebound and sitting in a chair you can do easy exercises. Marching in place, lifting one leg up and holding it for a couple of seconds, bringing it back down and repeating on the other leg, there are just so many good benefits. One day at a time one step at a time. I always tell people: (you got this) small easy steps first.

For me walking is the best medicine to riding my bike. And it really does boost your good endorphins. It brings you a positive mindset. Don’t forget to drink water. And only drink when you’re thirsty, Don’t Force It. Sure I’m a believer in drinking 64 oz of water but for some people it can be too much. If I drink 48 oz of water I’m good. Here is to an intermediate fasting day for me I will probably have my first meal about 3:00 p.m.

Sausage and egg frittata, with spinach. If anyone’s like me I don’t like to spend hours and hours in the kitchen I do easy prep, but I am really enjoying cooking at home. I just know the things that I make, and it makes me feel good afterwards.
